"The public sent us a great message today, for the environment, for the whole team. They were really exceptional: with their applause at the end of the game they made us feel their closeness, all their affection in a complicated moment. They moved me almost as much as those on the day of promotion. It means that there is fertile ground, we have to repay this trust with work."

COMPACTNESS AND CONVICTION  
"These first eight matches have made us realize the difficulties of the category. The break is coming, we have to start again: treasuring the mistakes, we have to work to improve and make mistakes as little as possible. We will face a very important cycle of competitions for us, we have to get there in the best way possible. Our championship begins: we all have to give something more, because only by giving 110% will we reach as newly promoted our goal, with compactness, lucidity and conviction. There are values and resources within this roster that we have not yet been able to express, we have to bring out our qualities." 

RESTARTING FROM WORK
"This summer we made choices while also taking some risks: we bet on promising youngsters, we have to wait for them, let them grow. There are many guys who have conquered Serie A and to whom we wanted to give confidence, but they are facing the top division for the first time; others still have to find the best condition or come from abroad, from a different soccer. We have not yet had Mancosu, Jankto and Lapadula. We had foreseen difficulties, we thought we would find some less: but it is also true that in the first eight games we played against five big teams, teams that made the impact with the category even more complicated. We have to persevere: we are aware of the moment but at the same time convinced of our qualities, we will come out of it. In front of us there are 30 more games to redeem ourselves and prove our real worth."
