Under 19, Cagliari 4-2 Spal

The Under 19 came from behind to win 4-2 against Spal and confirm second place in the standings. The MVP of the day was Zito Luvumbo, who scored twice.

Wilke from Spal had opened the scoring with a nice strike but captain Kourfalidis produced one of his own before Luvumbo put Cagliari ahead late in the first half. The guests looked to have salvaged something but Luvumbo immediately restored the advantage before Yanken ensured the result in stoppage time.

The Agostini’s boys come back to victory after the draw against Fiorentina. The Rossoblù will face Sassuolo on Saturday 5 March.

“It was a difficult game, we expected it. SPAL is a tough opponent who tried to take points until the end. We were good at never giving up, believing in what we do and in our abilities. We must never lose this mentality. The ranking is very short, we are second but in a few points there are several teams and this must make us be very careful every day, from game to game. Saturday morning we will go to Sassuolo: the guys are perfectly focused on the path we are building”.
