Cagliari U19 conquered another victory at Asseminello, the second in a row: Hellas Verona was beaten 2-1. With the win the rossoblù confirmed their position in third place in the Primavera 1 TIMVISION table.

Alessandro Agostini opted for just one change to the team that won 3-0 with Napoli in the last game: the forward Yanken is in the starting team. In an end-to-end game, Manca's bicycle kick goal in the 78th-minute proved to be the difference at Asseminello.

After a hard-fought firs half, Cagliari took the lead with Desogus at 59’: wonderful assist from Tramoni and Desogus scored from close range with the right. Hellas Verona equalized with Bosilj at 77’, a minute later Manca scored the decisive goal of 2-1.

The rossoblù will face Juventus on Tuesday 21 December to end an amazing 2021.
