Cagliari drew 1-1 at home with Torino. Both teams played a really hard-fought matches: Torino took the lead in the 32nd minute courtesy to unlucky own goal by Carboni. The rossoblù didn’t give up and reacted with proud. Towards the end of the first half Nandez found the space for the shot, but his right was a little high over the crossbar. In the second half Cagliari started the second half on the front foot and after five minutes Milinkovic-Savic made a miraculous save on a header from Joao Pedro. At 53’ Joao Pedro scored a wonderful bicycle kick and equalized the result.
In the last thirty minutes there were no important chances to report. Again a good match from the three defenders on Mazzarri’s 3-5-2, Carboni, Ceppiteli and Caceres, with Godin in the last ten minutes.
The draw seemed to be the right result for what we saw on the pitch, Cagliari will be back to play Sunday facing Inter at San Siro.
