Match report: Hellas Verona 0-0 Cagliari

Match report: Hellas Verona 0-0 Cagliari

Cagliari obtained a good score at Hellas Verona. 0-0, the Rossoblù played quite well, fighting on every ball as if it was the last. The lads showed grits and temper and stopped the way to a team that had won the last 5 home games.

Cagliari accepted to play also physically and the defense was majestic. Carboni, Ceppitelli and Caceres, the three defenders on Mazzarri’s 3-5-2, built a real well, helped by the work of all the other mates, in primis the strikers Joao Pedro and Keita. Also the goalkeeper Radunovic saved its goal with some wonderful saves. Cagliari also had a couple of chances to score, but Keita and Bellanova could not bring them home. A bit of luck helped the Rossoblù, when Dawidowicz headed to the post a corner kicked by Veloso: never mind, it is good to have luck on your side, sometimes.

Cagliari will be back to play next Monday facing Torino at Unipol Domus.
