Match report: Sassuolo 2-2 Cagliari

One good point for Cagliari at Sassuolo. The Rossoblù got a tie, 2-2, and showed a big temper and personality. Not easy to equalize twice, a couple of minutes after taking the goals. It is one of the best news for Walter Mazzarri: the team has been solid as a rock, and strongly reacted: it did not happen like this in other previous games.

Cagliari played a good match, created some chances to score. Also Sassuolo did, so the game was quite fast and pleasant to watch. The best thing however has been the goal scored by Keita, who climbed up to the sky to volley a cross from Nandez: the ball hit the bar before bouncing into goal. A real masterpiece, the third goal scored by the Senegales striker.

Scamacca had scored the first goal of the match just some seconds before.

In the second half, two penalties: first one scored by Berardi, the other by Joao Pedro (goal number eight for the Brazilian forward).

Cagliari now will be back to play on Friday night against Salernitana at Unipol Domus.
