Match report: Cagliari 2-2 Spezia

Match report: Cagliari 2-2 Spezia

Cagliari starts its new Serie A campaign with a tie, 2-2, at Unipol Domus, against Spezia.

One point which is to be considered quite good, especially seeing that Spezia was leading 2-0 after one hour of game. Gyasi had put his team ahead with a powerful shoot after seven minutes, Bsstoni scored twice at 58' after a fine counter attack.

Joao Pedro turned himself into the hero of the day, scoring twice, at 62' (powerful shoot from 25 metres into the corner of the net) and at 66' on penaly, given for a foul by the goalkeeper Zoet on Pavoletti.

Cagliari had many chances to score, but also Spezia played well and hot its chances. Yet the Rossoblù showed their big temper: it is not easy for anybody to recover from a double disadvantage.

Now Cagliari will play Milan at San Siro on Sunday night.
