Cagliari Calcio announces the signing from Atalanta of the player Boris Radunović who has moved permanently and has signed a contract with the club until 30 June 2025.
Born in Belgrade, back in 1996, he grew up in FK Rad, a team in his hometown: at the age of 17 he made his debut in the first team, making 22 appearances in the Serbian top league.
In the summer of 2015 he was signed by Atalanta with whom he made his Serie A debut on 15 May 2016, in the away win against Genoa (1-2). He plays on loan in Avellino for the 2016-17 season, then with Salernitana and Cremonese: in three years he scores 76 games in Serie B.
He is back in Serie A again with Hellas Verona in the 2019-20 season, before moving back to the ranks of Atalanta last season.
In his career he boasts 18 matches with the U21 national team.
Strong in high balls, where he can take advantage of his powerful physique (he is 1.94 m tall), despite his size Radunović is characterized by his reactivity, so good in low saves. Quality that he will now be able to make available to Cagliari.
