eSerie A TIM, Rossoblù at the Final Eight

The eSports team's race does not stop. After dominating the group B with 16 points and showing the best defense of the group, Rossoblù – sponsored by Adidas and Fluorsid – fly to the Final Eight of eSerie A TIM on FIFA21 (awaiting the playoffs on PES 2021, scheduled for Tuesday April 27). Yesterday evening they played the game that made them earn the pass for the decisive round of the first virtual championship dedicated to the Serie A teams. The opponent was Lazio, who had beaten Milan in the challenge played in the afternoon.

FIGHTING CHALLENGE
Francesco “Obrun2002" Tagliafierro, the player designated for the playoffs, begins greatly. He scores twice, making double advantage at half-time in the first match which ends 4-1. In the second match Lazio comes back. 2-0 down, Obrun found the strength to equalize. And it is not over: Rossoblù play with ten men since 73', Biancocelesti score twice. The defense resists, not without thrill, and at the final whistle our boys can celebrate victory on aggregate (6-5).

FINAL EIGHT
The eight best Clubs of the eSerie A TIM will play the finals soon (date and location to be defined). Cagliari, Fiorentina, Genoa and Udinese are qualified: they will compose the winner bracket and will be able to compete for the climb to the final with best of two challenges. Still the remaining four teams have to be defined. They will come out of the loser bracket. For everyone it will be a very first time but there are all the chances to attend a new show, as evidenced by the follow-up found so far on the social profiles of Cagliari Calcio eSports and of the league during each eSerie A TIM match.

A GREAT TEAM
The Rossoblù path, in partnership with Exeed, led to the final goal. “I am very happy – Obrun said – This goal is for the whole team. Now the fun comes, from tomorrow we will need to work even more on the details to aim for the maximum and try to win the trophy”. A team which is composed by Francesco Tagliafierro (Top-7 FCC and  #12 in the FIFA21 world ranking), Daniele “Dagnolf” Tealdi and the drafted Diego “Pangrattato” Antonelli, in addition to “RiberaRibell” and “Hollywood285”, well-known players and creators in the Italian eSports scene who have so far made a big contribution in terms of experience. Full speed ahead, guys!
